Key responsibilities & impact

Support instructional improvement on the ground with school system partners
Work closely with internal leaders, executing professional development, diagnosing and progress monitoring instruction and school conditions
Build and coach capacity in instructional leaders, providing content and curricular expertise throughout the country
Partner with internal leaders to observe, analyze, and monitor instruction, systemic conditions, and instructional leadership practices using diagnostic tools
Communicate clearly and proactively with partners, building strong, trust-based relationships with system and school leaders

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional experience, including experience as a math teacher and 2+ years as an administrator or instructional coach
Deep content knowledge demonstrated through the ability to independently design and deliver high-engagement, curriculum- and content-specific professional learning with accuracy and clarity
Expertise in diagnosing the quality of instruction and instructional leadership practices using proprietary tools, with the ability to synthesize trends into recommended, actionable strategies for leaders
Mastery of coaching skills necessary to build the capacity of instructional leaders, focusing on improving content-specific instructional leadership practice
Proven ability to coordinate effectively across team members, demonstrating clarity in communication and seamless task handoffs to ensure project alignment
