About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise and act as a thought partner to the CEO on company strategy, organizational priorities, and executive decision-making
- Develop and evaluate enterprise strategic priorities, including market opportunities, partnerships, clinical product strategy, and major investments
- Build decision frameworks, synthesize data, and present recommendations
- Produce strategic analyses, executive briefings, Board materials, and decision-support materials
- Represent the CEO in executive meetings and strategic initiatives
- Own and improve the executive operating cadence, leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and business reviews
- Apply AI and emerging technologies to streamline planning, reporting, meeting preparation, follow-up, and knowledge management
- Improve tracking of strategic initiatives, business outcomes, organizational learning, and future decisions
- Build scalable operating mechanisms and data-driven reporting for company priorities, execution, performance, and organizational health
- Support or lead high-priority enterprise initiatives across Clinical, Commercial, Product, Finance, Operations, and People
- Identify organizational bottlenecks, improve cross-functional coordination, and drive accountability
- Maintain a consistent corporate narrative across employees, the Board, investors, and external stakeholders
- Coordinate Board messaging, investor updates, leadership communications, and company announcements
- Equip leaders with context and messaging for communicating priorities and leading organizational change
- Own the Board operating process, including agendas, executive coordination, materials, and follow-up
- Partner with the CEO and CFO on Board and investor communications, fundraising activities, and long-range strategic planning
- Coordinate executive engagement with investors, strategic partners, and external stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of total experience
- Ideally a mix of 3–5 years across consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, and 3–5 years of operational or Chief of Staff experience within high-growth organizations
- Track record leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from concept through execution
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and preparing Board-level materials
- Exceptional strategic thinking, business judgment, and structured problem-solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to influence senior leaders and a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong program management skills with exceptional organizational discipline and follow-through
- High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to build trust quickly
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Preferred: experience in healthcare, digital health, behavioral health, or another highly regulated industry
- Preferred: experience in a high-growth startup or scaling organization, ideally venture-backed at Series B through D
- Preferred: enthusiasm for applying AI and emerging technologies
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
