About the role
- Manage the unit overseeing software and hardware solution development projects with diverse technologies, and lead teams in executing the unit's vision and objectives;
- Promote adoption of software development best practices;
- Promote and ensure the quality and security of solutions developed by the development teams;
- Act as the interface with clients to negotiate investments and prioritize requests;
- Ensure management and monitoring of the unit's financial metrics, and plan for project costs, scope, and quality;
- Promote and facilitate communication across multiple teams and units, ensuring alignment with the expectations of all stakeholders;
- Design strategic technology solutions based on roadmaps and market trends, with a focus on the local market.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technology-related fields;
- Postgraduate specialization or master's degree in related areas;
- Experience leading large technology teams and managing highly complex projects;
- Experience in R&D (technical knowledge combined with identifying opportunities and new business);
- Preferred experience managing key accounts;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary, multi-site teams;
- Experience in international projects;
- Knowledge of project development best practices;
- Fluent English for speaking, writing, and reading
