About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Logos Circles by assisting volunteer community organisers in scoping and completing “winnable issues” (community impact projects) to better self-select and execute activities at the local level, while maintaining continued and cohesive growth.
- Guide and mentor new local Circle Stewards using the formats provided by IFT.
- Manage documentation, briefs and reporting to make sure IFT has readily available content to assist Logos Collective Association to promote Circle narratives, outputs and wins.
- Aggregate regional reporting and metrics to improve visibility and facilitate coordination across Circles and the broader Logos network.
- Act as the primary liaison between Logos and Circle stewards, helping to facilitate any logistics or support provided by Logos, such as shared campaign assets, resources and general advice.
- Attend local events to promote Logos Circles, build community visibility, and connect interested participants with local Logos Circles.
- Produce standardised and regular reports for regional output and progress.
- The ideal candidate will be based in the greater Lisbon (Portugal) area and able to take over management of the local Lisbon Circle and it’s ongoing civic action activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience doing civic good community organising on a voluntary or paid basis.
- A basic understanding of privacy, non-governmental civic organising and it’s implications on civil life, alongside the implications of technology on these issues (decentralised technology and otherwise)
- An excitement to learn about blockchain, crypto, and decentralised technology, and it’s political and civic implications.
- Experience managing projects and excellent organisational skills
