Key Account Manager – Construction Field Sales

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- You are responsible for the entire sales process in the Central region – from lead generation to closing.
- You build a high-quality portfolio of major accounts and develop it strategically.
- You establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers in the construction sector – up to C-level.
- You adapt our global sales strategy to the regional market and implement it locally.
- You provide regular insights into market developments – competitors, customer feedback, pipeline and metrics – and keep the internal team informed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training or university degree, ideally in business, engineering or construction-related fields
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably as a Key Account Manager in the construction or building materials industry
- Established network with relevant decision-makers in the construction and/or building materials industry
- Strong hunter mentality with proven success in acquiring and developing strategic key accounts
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a proven track record of closing deals, including at C-level
- Confident and professional manner with a clear customer and results focus
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style in dynamic and complex market environments
- Business-fluent German and good command of English, both written and spoken
