About the role
- Lead a team of advertising-focused Product Marketers responsible for driving the success of Instacart Ads ecosystem and establish a Product Marketing center of excellence.
- Develop cohesive go-to-market strategies and inbound/outbound marketing plans; own product positioning, messaging, and marketing materials for product/feature launches.
- Serve as strategic thought partner to Ads business and collaborate with Product, Brand Partnerships, Customer Success, and Commercial Teams.
- Gather feedback from advertisers and the market to inform Product teams and identify new product opportunities.
- Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns to build sales pipeline and drive product adoption; partner with Growth Marketing to create investment strategy across marketing channels.
- Oversee team strategy, budget, management and resourcing; balance priorities and set clear goals.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to educate sales team and advertisers about the value of data & measurement products.
- Execute marketing programs including thought leadership, blogs, whitepapers, guides, social support, industry briefings, product launches, and events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product marketing and related product roles with at least 5 years in digital advertising and tech industry specifically
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Retail Media Network, CPG and/or Retailer experience
- Deep understanding of the digital advertising/marketing ecosystem and advertising technologies
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into customer value propositions
- Experience in defining product marketing objectives and key results (OKRs) and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling marketing content and effectively articulate product messaging.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence
- Executive presence and ability to articulate marketing concepts to broad audiences
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment working with external audiences
