Platform Engineer

• Own the scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency of cloud-based infrastructure
• Build and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting systems and lead incident response
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive blameless postmortems to improve MTTR
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and rollback procedures
• Implement automated testing strategy, quality gates, and security scans within CI/CD
• Apply and enforce security best practices in infrastructure, IAM, and deployments
• Support SOC2 and HIPAA compliance efforts
• Partner with product engineering, data, and hardware teams and improve engineer onboarding
• Lead and mentor a small platform engineering team (2–4 engineers) and consolidate platform responsibilities
