About the role

  • Design, deploy, and operate cloud-based infrastructure for Inspiren’s senior-living platform.
  • Drive automation, reliability, and security across CI/CD pipelines, serverless workloads, and edge services.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and clinical teams to accelerate feature delivery and support rapid growth.
  • Improve developer productivity and the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle to accelerate engineering velocity.
  • Ensure 24/7 reliability and observability, including building and operating monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Sentry).
  • Manage infrastructure scalability, troubleshoot issues, and implement backups and disaster recovery; align capacity with growth and cost-efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production; develop rollback procedures and runbooks.
  • Implement and enforce automated testing strategy and quality gates, integrate static analysis and testing frameworks, and build dashboards for pipeline health.
  • Enforce security best practices, educate team members on security protocols and incident response, and guarantee compliance with HIPAA and data access controls.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role supporting production workloads.
  • Proven, hands-on experience with AWS (including Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFront, S3, and RDS).
  • Experience with serverless architectures (essential).
  • Proven ability to manage and refine CI systems using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with automated deployment strategies, feature flags, automated rollbacks, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience using and configuring application monitoring and telemetry tools like New Relic, Sentry or DataDog.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
  • Familiarity with IoT integrations (AWS IoT Core) and media-streaming frameworks (gStreamer).
  • Passion for creating and improving system and platform documentation; experience leveraging AI for documentation is a plus.
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotations and drive post-mortem analyses.
  • Humility and strong collaboration skills; kind and thoughtful when working with others.
  • Bonus: Direct involvement in achieving and maintaining SOC-2 and/or HIPAA compliance.
  • Bonus: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Cloud Practitioner.
