About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Finance Manager with the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Process and record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations monthly.
- Send invoices and contracts promptly to customers.
- Follow up on late invoices.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and coded correctly.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience (typically 2+ years) working as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar comprehensive accounting role.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP).
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Stripe, and ADP.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Experience in creating dashboards and board presentations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certification, such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB,) or experience working toward a CPA designation.
- QBO Certification
- Bill.com Certification
- Experience with Hubspot CRM.
