About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a book of business and contribute to clients’ overall success, growth, satisfaction, and retention
  • Advise client management and key decision makers on employee relations, legislation, benefits, wage and hour, performance management, and development
  • Align HR business strategy and goals with client management
  • Consult on HR-related issues, strategies, and guidance
  • Evaluate and anticipate HR-related needs and develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Analyze trends to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
  • Cultivate relationships with internal and client partners
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Deliver performance management guidance, including conflict resolution, coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions
  • Improve work relationships, build morale, enhance teamwork, and advance employee retention
  • Deliver HR policy guidance, interpretation, and best-practice recommendations
  • Provide guidance on organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Identify training needs and help ensure training objectives are met
  • Understand evolving organizational strategy and goals
  • Document client interactions in client management systems and databases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience is required
  • Two to five years of related Human Resources experience is required
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Travel up to 15%
