About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partnering with clients and assisting the Human Resource Specialist in the delivery of compliance-based services.
Promoting consistency of process and compliance with state and federal laws to mitigate liability.
Researching and providing guidance on HR topics related to employment law.
Collaborating with the Human Resource Specialist to develop work relationships that result in client retention and growth.
Providing support with projects such as handbooks, policy development, and implementing tracking solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
One to two years of Human Resources experience preferred.
Familiarity in Human Resource best practices with emphasis on federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Strong customer service experience in a team environment.
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Effective problem solving/decision making skills.
Effective time management skills.
Basic presentation skills.
Project management skills and experience in managing multiple projects.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs, experience using customer relationship management software, and demonstrated ability to learn other application programs as needed.
