About the role

  • CONTRACT ROLE
  • Lead and coordinate with vision holders to set Cinematic team goals, ensuring successful documentation, tracking, and implementation of cinematics across the game.
  • Manage schedules, facilitate communication, and solve challenges within the development process to deliver cohesive gaming experience.
  • Build, modify, and maintain schedules for assigned Pods in partnership with Pod Leads.
  • Partner with Track and Pod Leads in the creation of milestone goals deliverables
  • Anticipate and solve problems independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth production
  • Break down large complex production expectations into smaller actionable deliveries
  • Guide stakeholder reviews and feedback process with Pod Leads
  • Communicates update to the development team about project changes and progress.
  • Facilitate cross-discipline communication and unblock team members from task dependencies
  • Maintain awareness of Pod content status through regular play sessions

Requirements

  • Five plus years of professional experience or training, or an equivalent amount of education and experience.
  • Proven experience in project management for video game development.
  • Worked closely with Cinematics teams to assess, track, and follow through on the creation of game wide Cinematic Animations.
  • Understanding of pipeline and dependencies of a cross-discipline pod that includes Design, VFX, Audio, Rigging, and Art Can facilitate reviews, follow ups, and drive solution-based conversations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Responsible for maintaining the schedule and structure of a project and keeping team members accountable for the project’s timeline and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of bug tracking database(s) is required DevTrack, TFS, Jira, Flow or other industry standard.
  • Working knowledge of version control software.
  • Perforce is preferred.
  • Solves problems both independently and collaboratively and adheres to the studio’s expectations of cultural leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be able to present ideas clearly and work well within a large team environment.
  • Must be a good team leader and be able to make informed decisions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to create and maintain good relationships with other departments.
