About the role
- Drive the creation, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the engagement strategy
- Lead the long-term positioning and capture execution of Company product and services offerings
- Oversee business capture opportunities
- Assist in preparing bids and proposals
- Leverage resources and knowledge of Insitu’s products, services, processes and operations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with regional customers
- Interface with customers and internal stakeholders
- Partner with Marketing, Strategy, and technical product leaders
- Mentor and guide Business Development specialists
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience as a business development director or senior-level specialist
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills
- General understanding of targeted customer and/or regional market
- Ability to balance enterprise, business unit, and customer goals
- Good interpersonal skills, self-awareness, and relentless customer focus
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience in maintaining relationships with executives and customer decision-makers
- Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of customer business
- Deep familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition process
