About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day administration of Jira Software, JSM (Premium), Confluence, Atlassian Assets, and connected products.
- Manage workflows, screens, custom fields, permissions, automations, queues, SLAs, request types, and project schemes.
- Maintain a clean, documented configuration baseline; enforce naming conventions.
- Partner with IT, Engineering, DevOps, HR, Finance, and Legal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain dashboards, JQL libraries, and reporting that leadership uses.
- Act as Tier-3 escalation for the Service Desk on all Atlassian issues.
- Conduct quarterly configuration audits and maintain a backlog of platform improvements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Own day-to-day administration of Jira Software, JSM (Premium), Confluence, Atlassian Assets, and connected products.
- Manage workflows, screens, custom fields, permissions, automations, queues, SLAs, request types, and project schemes.
- Administer user provisioning, group/role mapping, and access reviews via Atlassian Access / SSO.
- Partner with IT, Engineering, DevOps, HR, Finance, and Legal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain reference solutions: ITSM, Asset & CMDB, DevOps boards, Knowledge Base.
- Track Atlassian's release notes, EAP features, and roadmap.
- Conduct quarterly configuration audits: unused custom fields, stale workflows, orphaned automations.
- Own Atlassian licensing posture: right-size user tiers, reclaim inactive seats, and forecast renewals.
- Integrate Atlassian with enterprise systems.
