About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and execute complex equity data projects including M&A corporate actions, stock splits, vesting accelerations, and cancellations of options and restricted awards
Perform comprehensive data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems and data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
Design, document, and improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
Develop and maintain automation templates, scripts, and tools using VBA, SQL, and Python to streamline recurring tasks
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to clients on equity plan compliance, controls, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management to identify opportunities for product enhancements and template optimization
Embrace and leverage AI tools and innovations to enhance data analysis, automation, and decision-making capabilities in equity management work

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience managing complex equity compensation projects or equity plan administration
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formula development, data analysis, and pivot tables
Strong working knowledge of VBA for Excel automation and process efficiency
Proficiency with SQL for database querying and data manipulation
Experience with Python or similar scripting language for automation and data processing
Demonstrated expertise with equity compensation software platforms (Certent Equity Management, E*TRADE Global EQ, Shareworks, or equivalent)
Deep understanding of equity compensation concepts including frameworks ISOs, RSUs, ASC 718, IFRS 2, and equity plan compliance frameworks
Strong documentation and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
