About the role
- Own the design and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions for customers
- Advise clients across industries on controlling, finance, group accounting and data management
- Act as interface between IT and specialist departments
- Conduct scoping exercises, requirements assessments, project management, and workshops
- Create functional and technical designs in customers' Azure or AWS cloud environments
- Implement BI solutions based on designs and conduct customer training
- Become a trusted advisor to customers within 6 months
- Participate in a comprehensive one-week onboarding program and ramp-up to billable status
Requirements
- Practical experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, ETL processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and MS SQL Server Integration Services or MS SQL Server Analysis Services (MCSA MS SQL Server certification desirable)
- Practical experience in (multi-)dimensional data modelling and familiarity with Data Vault
- Methodological knowledge of ETL and data integration processes
- Experience with data structures from databases, ERP, CRM and other operational systems or APIs
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases in larger BI projects
- Degree in business information systems or computer science or comparable professional experience
- Fluency in German and English
- Eligible to work in the country where the position is located (no sponsorship offered)
