About the role
- Create new business selling the PowerOn solution to Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, & IT leaders at public companies
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through discovery, presentations, demos, contract negotiations, and closing
- Develop and maintain strong contacts and networks both within and outside of the Company
- Understand and communicate market feedback, new opportunities, and product penetration strategies
- Oversee, maintain and update sales forecast and CRM system
- Report to the Divisional Vice President; remote-first role; be available to travel up to 25%
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales, marketing or a related field
- 2+ years of software sales experience to public companies
- Experience selling or STRONG familiarity with at least ONE of the following: Business Intelligence & Visual Analytics, Sales & Operational Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, or Budgeting & Forecasting
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strength in negotiation, financial and analytical skills
- Demonstrated strength in appointment setting to create a pipeline of opportunities
- Proven history of securing new accounts and growing sales across channels
- Exhibits an overall polished, professional image
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
