About the role

  • Create new business selling the PowerOn solution to Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Supply Chain, & IT leaders at public companies
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through discovery, presentations, demos, contract negotiations, and closing
  • Develop and maintain strong contacts and networks both within and outside of the Company
  • Understand and communicate market feedback, new opportunities, and product penetration strategies
  • Oversee, maintain and update sales forecast and CRM system
  • Report to the Divisional Vice President; remote-first role; be available to travel up to 25%

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business, sales, marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years of software sales experience to public companies
  • Experience selling or STRONG familiarity with at least ONE of the following: Business Intelligence & Visual Analytics, Sales & Operational Planning, Enterprise Performance Management, or Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated strength in negotiation, financial and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated strength in appointment setting to create a pipeline of opportunities
  • Proven history of securing new accounts and growing sales across channels
  • Exhibits an overall polished, professional image
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
