About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver professional and timely customer service from the initial request through completion of the scheduling process.
- Review referrals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information.
- Audit medical records to confirm inclusion of all necessary documentation, including treating physician details and relevant case data.
- Maintain effective, professional communication with clients and physicians.
- Coordinate and track scheduling tasks efficiently, managing multiple files simultaneously while ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Leverage knowledge of medical specialties to appropriately assign cases and support peer review processes (preferred).
- Handle radiology and imaging files using platforms such as DICOM, CLINK, Box.com, or similar systems (preferred).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and specialties is preferred.
- Experience with digital imaging and radiology file handling is a plus.
- Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
