About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows
  • Develop and optimize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications
  • Create and maintain BAPIs, RFCs, and web services for system integrations
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to ABAP development standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in existing ABAP codebase
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Support SAP S/4HANA migration and optimization initiatives
  • Document technical specifications and maintain development documentation
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancement pack implementations

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience
  • Strong expertise in ABAP Objects, ABAP for HANA, and CDS views
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 development
  • Solid understanding of integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, OData services)
  • Experience with ABAP debugging, performance tuning, and optimization
  • Knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, FI/CO (at least two)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • SAP certification in ABAP development (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Previous consulting experience
