About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop product strategy and roadmap, market and product requirements, and marketing plans for assigned products
- Gather, refine, and distill market feedback and analysis to define requirements and document solution approaches
- Collaborate with Client Management, Product, Architecture, BA, Development, QA, Design, Support, and Marketing teams
- Define functional approaches for delivering product vision and customer needs
- Own successful definition, delivery, and implementation of advised solutions
- Escalate project risks, impacts, and client executive misalignments
- Participate across the full product lifecycle, including sales support, pre-sales engineering, product strategy, planning, construction, go-live, stabilization, and support
- Support strategic road-mapping and product investment with Product Managers
- Review, weigh in on, and approve requirements, designs, and other deliverables
- Create scope and approach documents and other product/client initiative artifacts
- Present internal training, product turnover, and knowledge-sharing events
- Manage product management and marketing win-loss analysis
- Deliver positioning documents, marketing plans, and go-to-market activities
- Perform competitive analysis and maintain expert-level knowledge of the product competitive landscape
- Develop and coordinate product training for sales, client services, and solution engineering teams
- Review and approve product pricing and solution strategies; validate product budgets against revenue and expenses
- Coordinate client-facing product communications and collateral
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures, mission, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (B.A./B.S.) required
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing or product management
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience
- Experience with system designs and concepts required
- Strong communication, organizational, observational, design, and engineering skills
- Proficient problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making skills
- Strong project management skills
- Goal-oriented with high attention to detail
- High familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Self-starter/motivated and able to drive results
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
