About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead business-critical initiatives involving Inovalon’s Provider products, technologies, and analytics to drive healthcare value and efficiency
- Lead the Sales Engineering team and bridge Commercial Strategy, Sales, Engagement and Execution teams, and customers
- Define direction, accountability, and growth for the Sales Engineering team
- Use knowledge of Provider Revenue Cycle Management workflows, healthcare data, clinical technology, and analytics to expand offerings to existing and new customers
- Influence pipeline, bookings, adoption, and expansion objectives through clear performance metrics and accountability
- Drive commercialization excellence and participate in early adopter programs
- Build and develop a high-performing Sales Engineering organization through recruitment, coaching, talent development, and performance management
- Define and execute the Sales Engineering strategy, operating model, coverage model, and resource allocation approach
- Leverage healthcare contacts and company-provided contacts to present Provider solution features and capabilities
- Partner with Sales and Execution teams to evaluate client needs and requirements and demonstrate product value
- Craft custom solutions with subject matter experts, sales teams, and product and engineering leaders
- Serve as Inovalon’s external/commercial representative with channels and partners as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 years of relevant healthcare industry experience, specifically emphasizing healthcare RCM, technology, and analytics methods, required
- Minimum 5 years of experience successfully leading teams to sales and revenue goal attainment
- Ability to influence cross-functional team members and business partners toward common goals
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Credibility and ability to build trust with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
- Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, professional, patient, and solution-oriented attitude
- BA or BS degree in a technical or business discipline or related field required
- Master’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to comply with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship
