Acquire, analyze and report on client data and information
Collaborate with other team members to aid in gathering, interpreting and reporting information
Identify Business Intelligence needs and work towards actionable data and insights
Uncover trends, data quality, and data completeness
Write complex SQL queries and SQL performance tuning
Support the development and implementation of data marts and structures
Provide guidance based on analysis of operational data
Define key insights and metrics needed by the business
Create and maintain views into data sets for visualization
Audit existing dashboards and recommend new reporting/insights
Provide clear communication on analysis and findings
Deliver training on processes, systems and tools
Identify data trends and make recommendations for quality improvement
Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
Maintain compliance with policies and procedures.
Adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
Possess advanced SQL skills
Possess healthcare experience including industry trends, terminology, and typical processes
Understand how business decisions are evaluated across operations, finance, risk, and people practices
Possess advanced business acumen and working knowledge of typical company operations
Skilled at providing relevant information for decision making
Proven track record of solving complex problems
Experience in data visualizations/BI tools – Looker / Tableau is preferred
Strong knowledge of statistics
Demonstrated success in building trusted relationships with internal/external clients and customers
Passion for the use of data and business intelligence principles
Demonstrated ability to handle large data sets and relational databases
Excellent organizational, leadership, and analytical skills.
