Key Account Specialist
iNova PharmaceuticalsSales professional managing regional sales and operational goals for iNova. Building relationships with key store personnel and improving branch-level sales growth.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive Sales Performance
- Achieve monthly MST sales transfers target for his/her region
- Give proactive order suggestions, and analysis of transfer data to identify growth opportunities, especially for MSA and priority brands/skus
- Foster strong business relationships with Branch Analysts and key store personnel to support sales and operational goals
- T2T engagement during new store openings and able to lead cross functional collaboration to execute OBLs
- Coordinate closely with merchandising team to ensure timely inventory replenishment, optimal stock levels, and effective merchandising standards that maximize product visibility and minimize stockouts
- Execute, Measure and Analyze rented spaces across his/her region, negotiate and recommend changes if needed
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with brand standards, planograms, and rented space agreements
- Monitor product freshness and implement FEFO to proactively manage returns
- Identify and implement strategic solutions for operational efficiency and sales growth across assigned branches.
- Lead district meetings externally and present in internal Mercury monthly meetings to review business opportunities, gather insights, and define action steps for mutual growth.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years experience in branch operations, field sales, key account support, or retail execution, preferably in pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG, or consumer health.
- Good understanding of Mercury Drug branch operations, including selling, ordering behavior, inventory movement, store execution, and analyst coordination.
- Ability to drive branch-level sales growth by improving product availability, supporting transfer sales, and executing agreed commercial priorities.
- Skilled in managing a certain territory and coverage through regular store visits, issue resolution, and disciplined follow-through.
- Capable of monitoring KPIs such as sales achievement, distribution, stock availability, promo compliance, merchandising execution, call coverage, and branch engagement.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to turn sales trends, inventory gaps, and execution reports into clear action plans.
- Strong relationship-building and coordination skills across branch teams, analysts, area teams, and internal partners such as SKAM, sales operations, supply chain, and trade marketing.
- Highly organized, proactive, and accountable, with strong ownership of action plans, execution gaps, and assigned deliverables.
- Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear updates, performance summaries, recommendations, and feedback.
