About the role
- Supervise and drive productivity at the individual and team level
- Lead the team members in achieving monthly reduction in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Lead the team members in achieving monthly team metrics and KPIs
- Create efficiencies by improving processes and identifying best practices in customer service
- Handles highly escalated service issues with patients, clinical locations, carriers, or agents
- Recruit, hire, engage, coach, and train new and existing team members
- Responsible for developing and administering quarterly employee performance evaluations
- Monitor, review and approve time sheets and time away requests timely
- Troubleshoot and research process/payer issues for leadership as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field of study or medical billing certificate, preferred
- 2+ years in a leadership capacity, serving as a team lead, supervisor or progressing through roles with increasing leadership responsibility
- 4+ years advanced experience of Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial Insurance experience, required
- 4+ years advanced experience in oxygen or HME billing, preferred
- 4+ years advanced knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office and telephony systems, required
- Experience using Oracle, Brightree, and Salesforce highly desired
- Certification in Revenue Cycle (e.g., CRCR) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus
