Utilize Power Automate to create and manage automated workflows that streamline data processes, notifications, and integrations with Power BI and other Navy systems.
Connect Power BI and Power Automate to various data sources, including Navy databases, SQL servers, and cloud platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data pipelines.
Build and optimize data models in Power BI to support complex reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and performance.
Engage with Navy stakeholders, primarily on the West Coast, to gather requirements and deliver tailored data visualization and automation solutions.
Ensure all solutions adhere to DoD security standards for handling classified information up to the Secret level.
Monitor and enhance the performance of Power BI reports, dashboards, and Power Automate workflows for scalability and user experience.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, data models, and automated workflows.
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Power BI, Power Automate, data connections, and user access in a secure environment.
Stay current on Power BI and Power Automate advancements, recommending innovative solutions to enhance data visualization and process automation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
1-2 years of experience using Power Automate to create automated workflows and integrations.
Experience supporting DoD or Navy programs preferred.
Active Secret clearance required.
Expertise in Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service), including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation and integration with Power BI and other platforms.
Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
Experience with data integration from sources like Azure, SharePoint, or DoD-approved databases.
Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity standards and secure data handling practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders, primarily on the West Coast.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
Knowledge of Navy data systems or operational workflows.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant.
