About the role
- Lead end-to-end solution design workshops with customers across Facilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Utilities, and Manufacturing.
- Translate business requirements into Maximo MAS 8+ configurations, integrations, and extensions.
- Architect scalable solutions covering work management, asset lifecycle, spares & inventory, HSE, and predictive maintenance.
- Advise customers on best practices, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and digital adoption strategies; conduct maturity assessments and recommend roadmap improvements.
- Map Innovapptive’s Connected Worker platform with IBM Maximo to drive business value and ROI.
- Provide guidance on Maximo MAS 8+ deployments, upgrades, license management, API enablement, and integrations (SAP, GIS, IoT, mobility).
- Collaborate with development teams to design technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues; ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance standards.
- Oversee full-cycle implementations from discovery to post-go-live support; mentor and train customer and internal teams.
- Lead and review solution documentation, data models, and architecture diagrams.
- Report to VP of Solution Consulting; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- IBM Maximo MAS 8+ certified (mandatory).
- CMRP certification (preferred, strong differentiator).
- 8+ years of experience in IBM Maximo solution architecture, with at least 2 full-cycle MAS 8+ implementations.
- Proven experience in asset management and work management processes.
- Experience with Maximo Anywhere/Mobile and mobility integration.
- Experience with integration frameworks (Web Services, REST APIs, Middleware).
- Experience with upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of OpenShift, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures (good to have).
- Strong background in reliability engineering, RCM methodologies, and KPI-driven asset optimization.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills.
- Proficient in communication both written and oral.
- Willingness to travel 50-60%.
