Market Leader, Sales – Life Sciences
InnovaccerMarket Leader responsible for leading and scaling Innovaccer’s Life Sciences business. Collaborating with leadership to shape market-aligned solutions and drive growth objectives.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and execute the overall strategy for Innovaccer’s Life Sciences business, aligned with company vision, goals, and growth objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities across the Life Sciences market, including expansion of existing solutions and development of new products, services, and partnerships.
- Lead the creation and execution of business plans that drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability within the Life Sciences vertical.
- Build and maintain executive relationships with key Life Sciences stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, CROs, and medical device organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and alliances, to expand Innovaccer’s Life Sciences footprint.
- Lead complex negotiations and commercial discussions with strategic clients and partners.
- Bring a strong point of view on customer needs, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, GxP) to inform product strategy and differentiation.
- Jointly define product direction and business plans for Life Sciences-focused solutions, ensuring alignment with market demand and compliance requirements.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure successful launch, adoption, and scaling of Life Sciences solutions.
- Own OKRs and financial metrics (CARR, NPV + CARR) for the Life Sciences business.
- Oversee GTM planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Life Sciences team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on business performance and progress.
- Engage and grow C-level relationships across Life Sciences clients and partners.
- Leverage strategic partnerships to drive new client acquisition and expand client value delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in Life Sciences, healthcare technology, or related industries, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving growth, building vertical-focused strategies, and leading large, complex business units.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and executing GTM strategies at scale.
- Strong understanding of the Life Sciences ecosystem, including pharma, biotech, clinical research, and regulatory environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and executive presence, with the ability to influence across stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and develop a strong culture of growth.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
