About the role
- Analyze healthcare cost, utilization, and performance trends across payer and provider datasets.
- Develop insights to support risk contracting, value-based care initiatives, and network optimization.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitive analyses using real-world healthcare data.
- Work with large-scale healthcare datasets including claims, EHR/EMR, and other real-world evidence sources.
- Build analytical models, reports, and dashboards using advanced analytics and visualization tools.
- Partner with internal teams to support client-facing deliverables and strategic consulting engagements.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in SAS and SQL for healthcare data analysis.
- Deep understanding of healthcare economics, utilization management, and risk contracting analytics.
- Experience working in payer, provider, or life sciences environments.
- Hands-on experience with healthcare datasets such as claims data, EHR/EMR data, and other real-world evidence.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree in Health Economics, Data Science, Public Health, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
