About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead stakeholder engagement and maintain relationships with communities, governments and partners
Organize and facilitate public meetings, workshops and consultations
Develop communication materials and engagement strategies for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, and transmission infrastructure
Support permitting processes and public affairs initiatives
Monitor stakeholder sentiment and manage issues proactively
Collaborate with project development, environmental, engineering, permitting, and construction teams to align engagement with project timelines
Identify and support community partnerships and investment initiatives
Maintain stakeholder data and report on engagement outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in stakeholder relations, community engagement or public affairs
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or similar sectors
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Environmental Studies, Community Development, or in a relevant field
Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments
Project management and organizational skills
Knowledge of permitting and regulatory processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
