About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of solutions within the ServiceNow platform
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership to junior developers
- Perform advanced customization of the ServiceNow platform, including UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and script includes
- Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and other integration methods
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Provide support for ServiceNow requests, incidents, changes and problems
- Monitor ServiceNow performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and consistency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
- Strong architectural understanding of Common Service Data Model (CSDM) as well as Service Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
- Experience with ServiceNow APIs and integration methods
- Expertise in implementing and optimizing ITIL aligned processes to enhance service management
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
