About the role
- Assist with configuring, testing, and maintaining Workday business processes and system functionality to support HR operations.
- Help design and implement solutions that improve HR processes and data management.
- Create and maintain documentation such as business requirements, system procedures, and testing scripts.
- Support testing activities for system updates and enhancements.
- Help ensure data accuracy and integrity within Workday.
- Assist HR teams with data loads and data updates using tools such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Provide day-to-day support for Workday including user access, role changes, data updates, and troubleshooting issues.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR leaders and business teams.
- Participate in Workday system updates and releases by testing functionality and identifying potential impacts.
- Partner with HR teams and business stakeholders to understand system needs and recommend improvements.
- Assist in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Research new Workday features and capabilities to identify opportunities for system improvements.
- Support project or testing efforts by helping manage timelines, documentation, and testing scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, HR, Analytics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in HR systems, HRIS, data analysis, or related technical roles
- Basic understanding of HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle
- Strong Excel skills (such as pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis)
- Ability to analyze data, systems, and processes to identify improvements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
