About the role
- Ensure purchase orders are placed with suppliers:
- Ensure all sales orders have a product allocated or are in the process of being procured,
- Ensure all purchase orders are acknowledged and processed by suppliers,
- Maintain sufficient follow-up to obtain order acknowledgements and record this information in the system for all teams,
- Handle discrepancies and rejected orders, proactively seeking root-cause resolution,
- Ensure delivery lead-time information is communicated,
- Analyze orders daily:
- Purchase orders not yet received in order to reallocate or expedite as required and to ensure the customer is delivered according to commitments and informed of any delay,
- Handle commercial requests for reallocation or rescheduling efficiently and promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role or in an administrative function is desirable.
- Good command of IT and office software tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail are key to success in this role.
