Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for building modern, legally compliant and scalable HR structures
  • Develop a professional HR framework suited to a dynamic startup in the gaming and esports sector

  • Central point of contact for executive management, managers, employees, applicants, freelancers and external service providers
  • Strategic development of the HR area and advancement of a unified People & Culture strategy
  • Advise executive management on people-strategy decisions
  • Plan future staffing needs
  • Define clear roles, responsibilities and reporting lines
  • Support the professionalization and further development of the company
  • Recruiting and talent acquisition, manage the end-to-end recruiting process
  • Establish a structured onboarding process
  • HR administration and HR operations, maintenance of digital personnel files
  • Ensure legally compliant HR processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business/Organizational Psychology, Labor Law or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in HR
  • Ideally experience as an HR Manager, People Lead, HR Business Partner or Head of HR
  • Good knowledge of German labor law
  • Experience with employment contracts, written warnings, terminations and mutual termination agreements
  • Experience recruiting specialist and leadership roles
  • Confident handling of sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in fast-growing companies, startups or digital organizations
  • Understanding of remote work and distributed teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
  • Assertiveness and decisiveness
  • High sense of responsibility
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good English skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
