Manager – Grants & Financing

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for identifying, applying for, and managing suitable grants, subsidies, loans and credit options
- Support in securing appropriate financing options for growth, product development, innovation and digitalization
- Research, evaluate and select suitable funding programs, grants, loans and credit options at regional, national and European levels
- Prepare, draft and submit funding and loan applications
- Prepare project descriptions, financial plans, business cases, supporting documents and other application materials
- Communicate with development banks, public authorities, financial institutions, consultants and external partners
- Support ongoing funding and financing processes from application through approval, disbursement and reporting of fund usage
- Establish and maintain structured overviews of deadlines, budgets, funding rates, repayment conditions and reporting obligations
- Assist in the development of long‑term financing strategies for growth, product development and innovation
- Work closely with executive management, finance, product and other internal teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in grants, financing or loan applications
- Experience in researching, applying for or managing grants, subsidies, public funding, loans or credit lines
- Understanding of business and financial principles, financial planning, liquidity planning and project budgeting
- Confident handling of numbers, deadlines, formal requirements and application documentation
- Very good written and spoken German
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
- Strong communication skills when dealing with authorities, banks, funding agencies and external partners
- Ideally: knowledge of funding programs for startups, digitalization, technology, gaming, software development or the cultural and creative industries
