About the role
- Develop and communicate a unified design strategy that aligns with Inkitt’s product-led business goals and brand vision.
- Provide creative leadership and mentorship to the design team, fostering a culture of high-quality collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee and contribute to the design of our external-facing app, merchandise, advertising, logo, and paywall systems, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships, especially with product management and marketing, to align design initiatives with business priorities.
- Establish design standards and best practices that elevate design quality across all outputs.
- Collaborate with the founder, actively shaping the creative direction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product design leadership within a product-led company, ideally with a portfolio of external-facing apps.
- Strong background in brand design and visual storytelling, with an ability to integrate product functionality and brand aesthetics harmoniously.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team of designers with varying specializations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
