About the role
- Lead and manage client relationships with a high level of professionalism and strategic prowess, acting as the main day-to-day strategic point of contact and a thought partner for client teams
- Shape omnichannel strategy and provide clear, actionable guidance to enable best-in-class execution across global and local teams, while directly leading end-to-end delivery for select clients
- Create and oversee client-ready deliverables, including presentations, emails, and digital content, ensuring they are clear, strategic, and polished
- Lead the integration of AI-powered content generation, predictive analytics, and automation tools to optimize omnichannel communications efforts
- Draft and contribute to insight-driven digital content, including web pages that integrate messaging, UX considerations, and performance goals
- Derive and synthesize insights from analytics, research, and industry trends, and apply them to optimize ongoing and future work
- Support the design and facilitation of client workshops, from omnichannel to digital capability building, change management to team building
- Identify opportunities to evolve strategies based on the rapidly changing digital and AI landscape
- Define and lead measurement strategy across omnichannel programs, including development of KPIs, success frameworks, and performance benchmarks aligned to client business and communications objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop digital team members, fostering a learning environment through training, feedback, and mentorship
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder relationships while serving as a change agent - guiding clients and internal teams through program and process rollouts, championing best-in-class digital communications, and building alignment around innovative approaches
- Drive day-to-day management of team workflows, ensuring deliverables are tracked, timelines are met, and priorities are clearly communicated
- Support cross-functional collaboration across Insights & Analytics, account, and specialty teams, stepping in where needed to advance work
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, timelines, and client needs, maintaining quality and strategic rigor under pressure
- Be point of contact in internal and client-facing meetings to share expertise, offer strategic counsel, and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams
- Proactively identify and implement ways to improve team efficiency and ways-of-working, including process optimization and resource alignment
- Maintain strong attention to detail across all outputs, particularly in complex healthcare and scientific content
- Have mastery knowledge of healthcare industry, our clients and the sectors they work in and maintenance of knowledge and capabilities of the broader digital and omnichannel environment and tool
- Demonstrate exceptional listening skills, with ability to apply conversation insights to broader strategic objectives of the Digital team and adapt based on new direction
- Demonstrate hyper-proactive communication, providing regular updates and anticipating needs in a fast-moving environment
- Actively source and integrate insights from existing materials, research, and industry developments to strengthen deliverables
- Take ownership of organic growth within existing accounts, proactively identifying new opportunities
- Support the preparation and execution of new business pitches, leveraging digital expertise to drive agency growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the future of the agency's digital offerings, identifying gaps and new trends to stay ahead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, strategy, business, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7-10 years' experience with a minimum of four (4) years' experience in digital communications, omnichannel marketing, or consulting/agency roles
- At least four (4) years' experience leading and managing digital projects and campaigns across multiple channels (web, social media, email, search, etc.), combining strategic consulting with demonstrated hands-on execution
- Strategic working knowledge of Proven expertise in digital strategy, GEO, SEO, SEM, CRM, CMS, email marketing, social media, and/or UX/UI principles
- Strong experience with UX/UI and digital design thinking methodologies, including collaboration with design teams to implement user-centric solutions
- Deep expertise in digital analytics and performance measurement, including KPI development, and translating data into business and communications impact
- Working knowledge of AI LLMs, AI prompt engineering, and, proficiency, or at least knowledge of, workflow automation
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex strategies to both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with digital project management, including scope, budgets, and timelines
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage client relationships effectively
- Solid experience in content strategy, digital storytelling, and paid/owned/earned media strategies
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong knowledge of key industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, FDA, ABPI) as they pertain to data analytics and healthcare communications
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented mindset.
