About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide P1 support to physicians about COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options
  • Educate identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification
  • Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact
  • Collaborate with customer-facing colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts across channels and field deployments
  • Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies
  • Assess the business, prioritize opportunities, and develop and implement local action plans to maximize sales impact
  • Engage healthcare professionals by answering questions about drug interactions, supply, high-risk patients, and treatment eligibility
  • Maintain expert understanding of the product, patient education, consumer education, disease state, market dynamics, quality programs, health information technology, and care trends
  • Use only approved promotional materials and support resources
  • Implement the strategic call plan to exceed goals for assigned geographies
  • Analyze customer interactions and available data to tailor sales approaches for target offices
  • Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize local and cross-channel opportunities and develop account strategies
  • Guide the retail pharmacy customer interface at the local level
  • Use pre-call planning, presentations, productive questions, issue identification, and call summaries
  • Customize sales messages to customer needs
  • Complete call reporting and inventory recording
  • Maintain supplies, equipment, and records
  • Prepare for and participate in required sales conferences and training classes
  • Complete required compliance training within client-set timelines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may include pharmaceutical sales, medical or medical device sales, professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or entrepreneurship, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, full-time military experience, or urgent care setting experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • Driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Ability to complete required study and certification time
  • Ability to complete required compliance training within client-set timelines
