About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Specialty Pharmacies.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with SP partners to optimize patient experience and program performance.
Monitor and analyze SP performance metrics, including; Time to therapy, Benefits investigation turnaround, prior authorization approval rates, prescription conversion rates.
Ensure SP adherence to program requirements, including turnaround times, documentation standards, and patient outcomes.
Track patient progress within the Specialty Pharmacy Network, ensuring reconciliation.
Resolve escalated patient access, benefits and fulfillment issues in collaboration with SP partners.
Partner with FRMs to address provider and patient access barriers; serve as an escalation point for case issues.
Provide FRMs with insights on SP processes, payer dynamics, and access trends.
Partner with FRMs to identify trends in access challenges and develop coordinated solutions across territories.
Ensure data integrity and alignment between HUB systems and SP reporting.
Collaborate with HUB teams (case management, BI, PA, patient support) to ensure efficient case progression.
Communicate program updates, SP changes, and process enhancements to HUB teams.
Support training and continuous education for HUB teams on SP specific requirements and workflows.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy, HUB services, patient support, or reimbursement.
Strong knowledge of HUB operations, SP workflows, payer landscape, and access processes.
Experience working with FRMs or in provider-facing roles.
Direct experience with major SPs (e.g., Accredo, CVS Specialty, Optum, Walgreens) preferred.
Therapeutic area experience (e.g., oncology, rare disease, immunology, dermatology) preferred.
Relationship management and cross-functional collaboration
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
Patient access and reimbursement expertise
Process improvement and operational execution
Strong communication and escalation management
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
