About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate with healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and payers to ensure patients gain access to prescribed medication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers
- Guide patients and/or caregivers through the post-prescription process
- Provide education on program offerings, insurance process, disease state, and treatment
- Manage assigned patient cases from referral through therapy initiation
- Conduct benefits investigations
- Manage the prior authorization and appeals process
- Proactively identify and address barriers to therapy
- Support medication adherence and ongoing patient engagement
- Document all patient interactions and outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unrestricted RN license required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- 3+ years of clinical nursing
- 3+ years of experience in dermatology or immunology preferred
- 2-5 years of case management and patient support experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and patient advocacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a patient caseload independently
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a virtual or call center environment
