About the role

  • Lead a nationwide sales team
  • Proactively monitor the team’s sales activity and efforts
  • Provide regular coaching and conduct field and virtual visits with each sales team member
  • Ensure the team adheres to the territory call plan and established performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage the competencies of Territory Managers
  • Identify skill development needs within the sales team
  • Provide guidance and feedback on sales techniques
  • Participate in or lead regular client meetings
  • Recruit, interview, and train new team hires

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (business or science is an asset)
  • Full bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • More than 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in field or virtual sales management within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to travel nationally – 40% of the time
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Previous coaching or mentoring experience (an asset)
  • Prior project or account management experience (a significant asset)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed annual sales targets
  • Strong organizational skills
