About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of static mechanical components and systems
Develop and implement global engineering standards for process equipment design, fabrication, and maintenance
Support CAPEX project execution from concept through installation and commissioning
Apply “Design for Reliability” principles to ensure robust and sustainable equipment performance
Evaluate engineering calculations, specifications, and datasheets to deliver complete technical definitions for static equipment
Conduct technical bid evaluations, supplier selection, and oversee vendor engagement, design reviews, and inspections
Contribute to preventive maintenance programs, Best Operating Practices (BOP), and critical routines to optimize reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
10+ years of mechanical design experience, including CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks) and FEA
Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and large-scale project execution
Knowledge of static equipment, reliability principles, and international engineering standards
Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification preferred
