About the role
- Lead the design, analysis, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components and systems
- Develop and implement global engineering standards for process equipment design, fabrication, and maintenance
- Support CAPEX project execution from concept through installation and commissioning
- Apply “Design for Reliability” principles to ensure robust and sustainable equipment performance
- Evaluate engineering calculations, specifications, and datasheets to deliver complete technical definitions for rotating equipment
- Conduct technical bid evaluations, supplier selection, and oversee vendor engagement, design reviews, and inspections
- Contribute to maintenance programs, Best Operating Practices (BOP), and critical routines to optimize reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of mechanical design experience, including CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks) and FEA
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and large-scale project execution
- Knowledge of rotating equipment, reliability principles, and international engineering standards
- Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement certification preferred
