About the role

  • You will work closely with Amazon Web Services to stay up to date on innovations and to maintain your network there
  • Your goal is to acquire new end customers for AWS projects, thereby generating new business for us, our partners, and AWS
  • You will develop sales strategies for end customers together with AWS and close deals in collaboration with our partners
  • You understand that forecast and pipeline meetings, presentations, and attending events are also part of your responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience: You have several years of experience in end-customer business and in the cloud environment — bonus points if you have specific experience within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Working style: Your success matters to you — generating new leads and new business; you know where to find the next opportunity and work strategically and persistently toward your goals.
  • Travel: You are happy to be on-site at AWS and at AWS-related events and are therefore occasionally willing to travel (approx. 15–20%).
  • Languages: You are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level).
  • Additional advantage: You are familiar with partner and distribution business models.
