About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather, analyze, and interpret procurement and supply chain data to support strategic sourcing decisions
Manage supplier quoting processes, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing supplier performance, cost savings, and procurement efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies with organizational goals
Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements
Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of goods and services
Analyze spend data and generate reports to track sourcing performance and identify areas for improvement
Support Sourcing Manager in NWC initiatives
Analyze market commodity prices and distribute data weekly
Support e-Auctions and other competitive bidding processes to drive cost reductions
Pursue inflation claw backs and other cost recovery initiatives
Conduct market research and analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and trends
Understand and document business processes, connecting actions to outcomes
Assist with both regular and ad hoc reporting and data analyses
Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required by the manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Ability to support the USA time zone and work well in a virtual team environment
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with good command of English language
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP software
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry (preferred)
Knowledge of e-Auction platforms and processes (preferred)
Knowledge of IQMS and PowerBi (preferred)
Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) (preferred)
