About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and own defined commodity group like Oil-Lubricants, Drives, Refrigerant system commodity and other Mechanical commodities
- Responsible for developing & executing detailed commodity strategy
- Develop Sourcing Strategy for commodity detailing projects
- Accountable for execution of sourcing projects including RFx, continuous improvement, consolidation, etc.
- Responsible for defining negotiations strategy including supplier profiles
- Conduct or support negotiations and supplier selection
- Responsible for delivering commodity productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects
- Support supplier segmentation, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Responsible for commodity continuity of supply
- Support region/sector NPD Procurement teams and tendering team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 15+ years of working experience in Strategic Sourcing or supply chain
- Good command of English language
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 and SAP MM module software
- Ability to work well in a virtual team environment
