About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Installation & Commissioning of air treatment systems according to manufacturer procedures and safety standards.
Conduct start-up testing, calibration, and system verification.
Provide on-site training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including filter replacements, system cleaning, leak checks, and performance inspections.
Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs with minimal downtime.
Conduct air quality testing and provide accurate test results and technical recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide on-site/remote troubleshooting guidance.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards.
Ensure proper handling of spare parts, tools, and service inventory.
Provide feedback to engineering and product management regarding product performance, failure trends, and customer needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
2+ years of service experience in industrial equipment, compressed air, HVAC, filtration, or similar fields.
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical diagnostic skills.
Native-level Japanese; basic English preferred for manuals, training, and internal communication.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
