About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Installation & Commissioning of air treatment systems according to manufacturer procedures and safety standards.
  • Conduct start-up testing, calibration, and system verification.
  • Provide on-site training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including filter replacements, system cleaning, leak checks, and performance inspections.
  • Diagnose system issues and perform corrective repairs with minimal downtime.
  • Conduct air quality testing and provide accurate test results and technical recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide on-site/remote troubleshooting guidance.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service standards.
  • Ensure proper handling of spare parts, tools, and service inventory.
  • Provide feedback to engineering and product management regarding product performance, failure trends, and customer needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
  • 2+ years of service experience in industrial equipment, compressed air, HVAC, filtration, or similar fields.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Native-level Japanese; basic English preferred for manuals, training, and internal communication.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
