About the role

  • Project management: planning, budget monitoring, and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Electrical design: component selection, schematics, and safety loops
  • Automation design: program architecture, process design, network topology, and communication interfaces
  • Programming of PLCs and HMI interfaces (TIA Portal – Siemens)
  • Commissioning of systems (FAT/SAT) both in-house and at customer sites
  • Preparation of technical documentation related to installations (functional specification, user manuals, IQ/OQ/PQ, SDS, HDS)
  • Support for the sales team in component selection, cost evaluation, and estimation of engineering time for our automation solutions
  • Post-installation technical support for delivered solutions

Requirements

  • HES engineering degree or ES technician diploma in automation (or training deemed equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, including programming
  • Proficiency with Siemens PLCs and development in TIA Portal
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and Allen-Bradley controllers is a plus
  • Fluency in English (C1) required; good knowledge of German is an asset
  • Knowledge of Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP) is an asset
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 requirements is an asset
