About the role

  • Provide technical support to suppliers in process development, PFMEA, measurement systems, control plans and error-proofing
  • Review technical drawings and requirements and participate in supplier qualification and QSV
  • Ensure compliance with the Global Supplier Quality Manual and support PPAP processes
  • Promote quality and process improvements using SPC, Lean and Six Sigma and validate SCAR actions
  • Continuously monitor supplier performance and initiate necessary corrective measures (8D, SCAR)
  • Conduct advanced supplier assessments and derive actions to improve the performance of the supplier base

Requirements

  • Degree as an engineer, master craftsperson (Meister) or technician in mechanical engineering, plus further training in quality management
  • Solid knowledge of the ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, including auditor qualification
  • Several years' experience in quality within a manufacturing environment and practical application of Lean methods
  • Confident use of quality tools such as APQP, SPC, PPAP as well as knowledge of GD&T and metrology
  • Expertise in tool design, machining (cutting processes) and operational production workflows
  • Very good English skills (B2/C1), strong communication and teamwork skills, and willingness to travel (<20%)
