About the role

  • You handle the procurement of technical products and services — from supplier sourcing to contract drafting and negotiation
  • You compare quotes, negotiate terms and make informed decisions
  • You maintain and develop our supplier relationships and ensure collaborative, partnership-based cooperation
  • You plan and manage material requirements using our ERP system
  • Together with Logistics and Production, you ensure a smooth material flow
  • You monitor production and shipping schedules and regularly reconcile planned vs. actual statuses
  • You participate in inventory counts and ensure transparent purchasing KPIs

Requirements

  • Ideally a degree or vocational training in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • At least three years of professional experience
  • Basic understanding of production processes, machinery and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and documentation
  • Key skills: negotiation skills and knowledge of contract management
  • Experience with ERP/materials management systems
  • Knowledge of capacity planning, resource management and scheduling
