About the role
- Ensure the integrity, compliance and reliability of accounting information
- Coordinate and execute all processes for monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings, ensuring deadlines and consistency
- Prepare, review and consolidate financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity)
- Perform journal entries and reconciliations of balance sheet and income accounts
- Ensure correct accounting classification of expenses, revenues, assets and liabilities
- Ensure timely filing of statutory tax and reporting obligations (ECD, ECF, DCTF, DIRF)
- Manage intercompany processes and fixed assets (additions, depreciation)
- Support the determination of direct and indirect taxes in coordination with the tax department
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active CRC (regional accounting council registration)
- Experience across the full monthly close process
- Knowledge of CPC/IFRS, US GAAP, and corporate and tax legislation
- Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- English: verbal and written communication
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle) and tools such as BlackLine and Hyperion
